Why You Should Sell An Ebook

The key to making money by selling eBooks is keeping track of your audience. You need a way to get in contact with everyone who looks at your brand. The easiest way to keep track of your customers is through an email list. If you do not currently have an email list of your customers that you are consistently communicating with you are WASTING YOUR TIME!!! Making $3000 a month is not as hard as you make think especially when you automate the process. To make $3000 a month you only need to sell 5 digital products a day at a cost of $20 per product. That is only 150 sales a month. The best thing about eBooks is an unlimited inventory with no overhead while you are building up your traffic. Building traffic takes consistency but once you get started it’s almost like printing money.


There are 6 things you will need to do to get started.

1. Set up an Account with Canva.com

2. Create your own digital eBook or purchase the private label rights to use one

3. Use Canva to create a logo or purchase one form Fiverr.com if you do not have one

4. Set up a Pinterest Business Account

5. Set up a Microsoft Ad Account

6. Set up an account with Aweber.com


CHOOSING YOUR eBook

Choosing your eBook should be thoughtful. You want to make sure there is some type of demand for what you want to sell. Most people use private label rights or PLR for short. Private label rights give you the ability to take a digital product that has already been created and edit it on your own. You can change everything about the product to meet your own preference. There are a lot of different sites you can use to purchase PLR.

These are just a few different options to find your own eBook to customize. If you are going to take this route use SEJDA.COM. You can always create your own product from scratch. This takes a little longer and could cost more money if you outsource the writing and design. This is not a bad option especially if you are using an eBook to compliment a physical product or service that you are currently selling.


Creating an eBook from scratch

You will need to go this route if you have something more unique to offer such as a physical product with best practice usage. People who own health and beauty companies usually benefit most from having a customized eBook. This works because you are almost able to monetize the eBook immediately. You already have a customer base through the purchases they have already made and should have collected their email because it is hard to sell something without capturing an email.


The only thing you need to do is create something to compliment your physical product or service. You will gain new customers that are interested in the information as well as selling to existing customers that are looking to enhance their current experience using your brand. Branding Your eBook

Whether you are using a purchased product or creating your own, you must have a brand. A brand helps give your product validity. If you currently have a brand, then there is no need to create a new one if you are going to be selling in the same niche.

You do not need to be the most artistic or creative individual to create a brand. Canva provides you with everything you need to create your own logo in very little time. Do not focus on getting too creative, minimalist logos work a lot better than the exquisite logos you see with some companies. Canva has a great free selection but if you are looking for more options, I recommend using Canva pro. You can also skip the creation part and contract someone at Fiverr.com to create a logo for you.



ADVERTISING

The last thing you will need to build this email list is advertising. There are two ways to advertise, paid or manually. In the beginning to speed up the process and save yourself money I suggest you do both. You want to get an engaged audience. An engaged audience is not always your customers, it the person who visits and interacts with your brand most frequently. While advertising you must make sure you are doing all you can to collect email addresses. Email addresses are the path to consistent traffic. Consistent traffic turns into revenue!


You will be using Canva pretty frequently in the beginning. Canva by far has the best templates and easiest setups. They also have the built-in dimensions depending on the platform you are using. I can tell you for a fact there are a lot of people that are on Fiverr using Canva to design ads for customers.


The 3 methods you need to use are:

1. Pinterest

2. Microsoft Ads

3. Facebook Groups and Instagram

These 3 will get you all the quality traffic you need for the least amount of money.

Pinterest and Microsoft Ads both have higher clickthrough rates on their target advertising when compared to their competition and they are both easy to set up. For both methods you will need an established landing page. Aweber.com has this built in for you with templates. You can use you blog as a landing page, but I have seen much more success using a standalone landing page when building an email list. Microsoft Ads will drive large amounts of traffic directly to your landing page. Remember this is a numbers game so the more people your get to look at your page the more opportunities you get to covert emails. The secret is making sure there is some type of sign up available to capture an email address.

If you choose to use your blog, install a pop up to give the customers a discount for signing up.


Microsoft ads are easy to set up but if you are having trouble, I have a step-by-step video guide here. If you set it up right, you should be having people signing up on your landing page every day. If you do not see this, then make sure you get the guide.

Pinterest Ads are a little more complicated, the key is to make sure you are creating engaging pins. Set up a Pinterest business account and go to Canva.com to create a pin. Canva has many different Pin templates. Do you research to see what pins are working best on Pinterest. Use that as a guide to create your own pin. You want to make sure your outbound click through rate is at least 40%. This means that 40% of the people that click on your pin go click through to your blog or landing page. Once you have attained this click through rate create an audience and then create a look alike audience. Run another ad to the look alike audience and you will see the customers start rolling in. Your advertising budget should be $10 or less a day.

Facebook and Instagram are free ways to get in front of a lot of people. I do not like Facebook ads because the market is saturated, and in my opinion, you end up spending more money to get smaller results. The one thing Facebook and Instagram have going is users! They are the largest platforms so I would use them for manual engagement. Facebook groups are a great way to get in front of thousands of people at no cost at all. Unfortunately, I have seen a lot of people get banned for advertising their landing page in the group. I would use this opportunity to promote your blog. Always remember that consistent blog traffic is almost as good as an email!


Aweber will be the best online tool that you will use. This creates the ability to automate your business. You can set up multiple funnels that keeps the customer engaged, informed and loyal to your brand. It’s like creating multiple digital assembly lines. The landing page is the foundation to building your online business. Aweber has templates already there for you to customize. The benefit to a landing page is capturing the customer’s information so even if they do not buy, they enter the funnel to start the process of making them an engaged customer. Funnels are the way you create an automated business so you can sit back and collect the money. Using Aweber is almost like an ATM, if you have a product to launch set up an advertisement and send it out to everyone in your email list. It is also a way to show your customers you appreciate them.

The one thing I will say about Aweber is that it takes a lot of time to get use to. There are so many things that you can use, it can become overwhelming. Conclusion

You can use advertising to generate sales, but your most lucrative option is creating an email list and using Aweber to continue to market to your customers or potential customers. An email list is how you automate a business to $3000 or even $10000 a month. Aweber gives you the ability to set up multiple lists for multiple brands. Once you automate one business you can set up another, within a year you can have 7 brands all generating $3000 a month. What could you do with an additional $21000 a month or better question what you would do with an additional 8 hours a day because you just created a way for you to quit your job forever. The ability to create income is more valuable than money itself.


If you already have existing brand you are leaving so much money on the table. Think about how many customers you currently have, do you think they would benefit from having more of your knowledge? Do you think you have knowledge worth at least $20? An eBook is the easiest way to make your business more efficient. You have to maximize the dollar of every customer and an eBook is the easiest way to do it.
